Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website, which is run by Canopies Direct Ireland (“we”, “us”) of 198A Shanliss Road, Santry, Dublin, Ireland. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

2. Using our website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected systems
• introduce viruses or other harmful code, or interfere with how the website works
• send spam, false enquiries or enquiries in someone else’s name
• copy or scrape the website’s content in bulk

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time, and we may block access if these terms are broken.

3. Information on this website

The content on this website is general information about our products and services. Photos show examples of our previous work and are for illustration; the finished look, colours and materials of your canopy will depend on your property and the specification in your quote. We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but nothing on it is an offer that can be accepted to form a contract.

4. Enquiries, surveys and quotes

• Sending an enquiry doesn’t commit you or us to anything.
• Surveys are free and carry no obligation.
• Quotes are based on our survey and are valid for the period stated on the quote, or 30 days if no period is stated.
• A contract is only formed when you accept our written quote. The work is then governed by that quote and any terms supplied with it.
• Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish law.

5. Intellectual property

The text, photos, logo and design of this website belong to us or to those who have licensed them to us. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not reproduce, reuse or distribute them for any other purpose without our written permission.

6. Links to other websites

Where the website links to other sites, these are provided for convenience only. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

7. Staff admin area

Parts of this website are a private admin area for our authorised staff only, protected by sign-in. Some admin tools connect to third-party services, such as our Google Ads account, and are used in line with those services’ terms and policies. Any attempt to access the admin area without authorisation is prohibited.

8. Our liability

We provide this website free of charge and “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or any content on it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can’t be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data, including the cookies used on this website.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies whenever you use the website, so please check back occasionally.

11. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring proceedings there.
